About Me

My name is Katy McNeely, and I am a Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist with nearly twenty years of experience helping individuals and families improve their hearing and quality of life.

Over the years, I’ve worked in many different hearing-care settings, including large clinics and corporate offices. During that time, I saw how overwhelming the process can feel for patients — long drives, rushed appointments, high-pressure sales environments, and extremely expensive clinic overhead that often leads to hearing aids costing thousands more than necessary.

I created Aiding Ears Hearing to offer something simpler, more personal, and more affordable.

A Mobile Approach to Hearing Care

I do not operate out of a storefront or clinic.
My practice is fully mobile, which means I come directly to your home for hearing tests, adjustments, troubleshooting, and follow-up care. This approach allows:

  • an easier experience for patients who prefer convenience or have difficulty traveling

  • a quieter, more comfortable testing environment

  • more one-on-one time without the rush of a clinic schedule

  • lower overhead costs — which helps keep your overall expenses down

My goal is to make hearing care as stress-free and accessible as possible.

Working With Insurance & Third-Party Benefit Providers

I am credentialed with several third-party administrators and hearing-care benefit programs. I help patients understand their coverage, verify what benefits they have available, and avoid unnecessary out-of-pocket costs.

Because I work directly with these hearing-care networks, I can help ensure that you receive the best pricing available under your insurance or benefit plan — without the large price markups that often occur in retail clinics.

My Philosophy

Every patient deserves clear information, honest guidance, and support that continues long after the appointment ends. Whether it is your very first hearing evaluation or you have worn hearing aids for many years, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are and help you feel comfortable, informed, and confident.

Hearing loss affects communication, relationships, and day-to-day living — and you should never feel rushed or pressured when addressing something this important. I take the time to understand your needs, explain your options, and provide care with patience, respect, and compassion.
